Museum of the African Diaspora, San Francisco
For our first field trip we chose to visit the Museum of the African Diaspora. We thoroughly enjoyed the docent tour, the amazing photo wall, and the interactive photo exhibit.
Bintou, who is from Mali, told us that this woman's blue lips are a Tribal tradition. Bintou is also from this Tribe!

Oakland Museum of California
We chose to visit the Oakland Museum for our second field trip. We enjoyed learning about California history, viewing the carp pond, and exploring the Museum.
